Things have changed now.

The moment I accepted her as my wife, I felt it.

A new presence in my life,

A new existence

The ride till home was silent, none of us said anything.

I got off the car and saw her struggling with her dress to step out of the car.

"Let me help" she nods nervously.

I pick her dress from the back as she hold the front making it easy for her to walk.

"Thank you" I nod and continue to walk as we reach the living room.

His daughter was sitting on the couch looking dull.

"What happened sweetheart?" I asked leaving her dress and knelt down infront of her.

"You forgot me dadda" she complained looking towards the floor.

"How baby?"

"You felt me their with grandpa and came with angel"

Angel

"Angel?" She nods pointing at Liana

"She's my angel" I look at Liana as the Flashback hit me

FLASHBACK

"I met an angel today dadda" arielle said playing on her tab.

"An angel?" I chuckle

She nods excitingly

"She was outside my school, she was beautiful just like an angel who came for me"

I smiled but didn't say anything further and continued to do my work on the laptop.

"Her long wavy hair,  fair skin" her eyes widened as she remembered something "and you know dadda she has blue eyes"

I laugh at her expression "really "

"Yes dadda really. She was an angel"

And the whole night she just talked about a lady she just saw, didn't talk to her - just saw.

"Oh she's your angel"

"Angel come sit with me" she taps the side.

Liana hesitates but sits down.

"You always wanted a mumma right arielle " she looks at me with her big doe eyes and nods" she's your mumma "

Liana fisted her hands over her dress gulping down her saliva.

"Really?" The excitement in Lianas voice made my heart clench.

"Yes I am " Liana says in a low voice.

"Wowwwwww" she jumps on Liana to hug her

"I love you mumma"

Lianas eyes widened in shock but she hugged her back.

My eyes began to sting remembering Clara.

Things would have been so different if she was alive, if she hadn't left me alone.

I slowly got up leaving the two girls alone chatting, I stepped inside my room letting the tears fall.

I walk to the balcony joined with my room. Looking up at the sky, I whispered

"I miss you so much. Look I am starting a new chapter, I hope your not angry. You live here and always will - no one will take your place " I place my hand on my chest "Arielles happy, our daughters happy clara. I hope you are too"

I closed my blurry eyes

"It's so hard, so hard. It feels like I am betraying you buy I can never do that to you. I love you so much "

My attention broke when the bedroom door opened.

I turned to look only to see them standing at the door.

Arielle holding lianas finger with a huge smile on her face.

"Dadda sleepy" I pick her in my arms and turn towards Liana.

"I will put her to sleep, you rest" she nods.

I make my way to Arielles room which she barely uses but I guess she will have to now.

"Mummas pretty right?" I nod at her question.

"You love her?" Her words made me stop

"What?"

"Yes dadda I heard that when two people love each other they get married "

As much I loved her intelligent I couldn't at the moment.

I decided not to answer and placed her on her bed as she was already in her pj's.

I run my fingers through her hair sitting beside her, she dozed off within a minute.

Time for the hard night

I make my way back to my room but the nervousness was increasing. I know nothing will happen between us but still it was weird and awkward.

"Where should I sleep?" I heard her voice as I entered the room.

"On the left side" she literally jumped on my voice.

A smile threatened to spread which I didn't let it.

"O...okay"

I make my way to the washroom to have a shower and change into comfy clothes.

The moment I stepped out, my eyes widened at the site.

Liana was standing on the bed holding a pillow in defense against my boy.

Lior

A eclipse panter, covered in black-and-silver fur with a crescent marking.

"OH MY GOD I AM GONNA DIE"  she screamed as lior took a step forward. His face showed that he was angry.

"Lior" I called him and his head snapped towards Me.

He sat down as I knelt before him.

"Lior this is Liana, a new member of our family" he tilted his head as if trying to process the new information.

"And Liana this is lior" she gulped making me laugh.

"Come here, he won't hurt you" she shook her head. "Come on" I stood infront of her holding out my hand.

She hesitated for a second but still took it .

"Touch him"

"He will bite" she said panicking.

"He won't Liana, come on " her cheeks turned crimson. They always do whenever I call her by her name.

She slowly placed her hand on his head, lior closed his eyes leaning in. Her lips broke out in a smile as she caressed his head.

"Not so bad "

I laughed at her remark "yeah he's quite friendly with the people he knows"

She made a o face.

"You can sleep on the bed, i will take the couch" I say standing up.

She looks at me before nodding in agreement.

After a hour, I still couldn't sleep. I was quite large for the couch and it was really uncomfortable.

I turned right- left, left- right yet nothing changed

Still bad and uncomfortable.

A annoyed groan left my mouth.

Liana turned towards my direction and says

"You can sleep here"
